Two more Persons with Albinism will be joining Cytonn Investment early next year under a Young Leaders Program that goes for twelve weeks. This was agreed upon during a partnership meeting at Cytonn Investment’s office at Liaison House on Thursday 29th 2016.
Speaking in the meeting, Hon. Mwaura said any help to Persons with Albinism will be of great help. “We are creating awareness to help people understand ‘Ni ngozi tu’ and Persons with Albinism can perform like any other human being,” He said. “We are hoping that companies can employ our people and give them a fair chance to prove themselves.” He added.
After a presentation that showcased all the programs that Albinism Society of Kenya undertakes including Miwani mashinani, Linda Ngozi and Linda Macho, Cytonn Investment’s interest developed around sunscreen production project, economic empowerment and youth leadership.
“We commend the work you are doing. We are keen on the young leaders and the youth at large. We have a program of graduate trainees that helps tap and identify the potential that the young minds have and we focus on boosting those in personal business. We can look for ways of partnership in the training program.”
Said Winfred Ndung’u, the brand and Business Administration Manager.
“Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t.”
This are words that were said by Steve Maraboli. It is with this in mind that we are eager to change the lives of Persons with albinism in Kenya.
We call upon investors and companies to join us as we make this kind of change in the society.
